Karisma Kapoor aka Lolo looked gorgeous in this heavily sequined neckline anarkali. If you wish to flaunt the same here’s a cheat: If you don’t want to spend too much on hand embroidery, get readymade appliqué and have it stitched onto your neckline.

Jacqueline Fernandez:

Jacqueline opted for a pretty red V-neck kurti. Her neckline is simple but what’s more appealing is of course, the embroidery. This pattern of neck embroidery works great when you don’t want to go over the top, but want to make an impression nonetheless.

Deepika Padukone:

If embellishment and rhinestone is not your thing, then just stick to simple threadwork like Deepika did. She opted for a printed outfit, but thread embroidery stands out better on monotone clothes.

Aishwarya Rai:

Everyone’s favourite Ash was spotted at a charity gala event recently in this stunning  floor-length, low V-neckline anarkali with gold intricate embroidery matching the rest of her outfit. If this is too heavy for your liking, you can get a kurta with embroidery only on the neckline, sleeves and hemline.

Neeta Ambani:

Black and gold is a great option for family dinners and wedding functions such as a sangeet. We love Neeta Ambani’s opulent neckline. This pattern of neckline works great if you are on the taller side.

TAKE CARE!

A few Talk points on How to TAKE CARE of your Special Garments!

First, look at the dress. Does it have beading, seed pearls, sequins, rhinestones, or anything that might be heavy sewn to the dress? If it does, it must be stored flat so that the weight of the trim doesn’t tear the material. The usual way to manage this is to wrap the dress in a white sheet, then store it under the bed. You can fold the dress, but if it cooperates, rolling it will leave fewer wrinkles.

If the dress has heavy fabric suspended relatively weak fabric, it is also a good candidate for the “under the bed” treatment. A heavy dress with narrow shoulder straps or a dress with net insets in the bodice are examples. You don’t want the weight of the hanging dress to pull it apart.

If your dress is relatively plain, your next step is to check the fabric content. Natural fibers need to “breathe,” which they cannot do in a synthetic garment bag. A dress of silk, linen, cotton, or wool should be wrapped in a cotton sheet. You can leave a plain, not-to-heavy dress on the hanger, but once you start running around with king-size sheets, you may find it easier to once again store the dress under the bed.
